British Startup, 23snaps, Brings Private Social Networking for Families to Brazil

23snaps, the British start up that has been called the “Facebook for families” by TechCrunch and the “Instagram for parents” by CNET, is bringing their private social networking service for families to Brazil. On April 15, 2014, 23snaps will host a launch event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the Portuguese language version of their popular free iPhone, iPad, Android and web apps.

23snaps’ Brazilian launch is supported by UKTI and the British Consulate in Brazil, after 23snaps was selected to participate in The Great Tech Expedition, a UKTI trade mission to Brazil supported by the Mayor of London’s Export Program in September 2013. Over 500,000 registered users from 179 countries use 23snaps to privately and securely save photos, videos and stories of their children, and share them with loved ones around the world but Brazil marks the first non-English variation for the British company’s service.
